  • One of the tourism industry's most eminent spokespersons is undoubtedly John Power, Chief Executive of the Irish Hotels Federation.

  • Later this month John will retire after over 40 distinguished years in the industry, the last 14 of which were as Chief Executive of the IHF.

That is good news from Australia. Other long-haul markets, such as the US, Canada, the Middle East, China and Brazil etc. are also beginning to "compete" with some of Ireland's stagnant source market...
